Baseball, and other quirks

Most people I know will readily testify to the fact I don't make a whole lot of sense, if ever. Well, it turns out I've got some fine company. Baseball games. Yes, it's true, but mostly for my local team, the Red Sox. Let me explain.
I'll be attending the April 15th game against Toronto for a grand total of about 40 dollars, that's only counting transportation and game tickets. I can get to a Phillies game for about the same price... here's the thing, though, the Phillies are about 5 hours away from where I live in Massachusetts. To me it seems ridiculous, but it's awesome enough for me to take advantage of. In fact, I'll be doing that twice this year, once each in June and July. As a Phillies fan, this may be the 2nd happiest moment of the last 16 years spent rooting for them. Looking forward to seeing Citizens Bank Park for the first time, too. Go Phils.

The cricket competition I mentioned in my last post has surprisingly not been a disaster either. I even won last week, so yay me, I guess. 1 win and 1 draw is pretty decent considering I still don't have much clue what I'm doing, but at least it's not hopeless.

And in other NS mess-ups, I've decided to run for the 3rd most important position in my group. Complete with a video. Yeah, because embarrassing myself in writing isn't enough. Actually, it's because my writing is that bad. I thought it would be a cool idea, and it seems to have worked, but I'll know for sure on April 6th. But after having sized up the ahem, competition? I think I'll be fine.  Also I entered the 2nd go through of NSCAR and... won the first race on the schedule. Maybe it's not hopeless after all.

Just maybe.

Here's to hoping you have a mistake-free day.
